Surviving 27 Years of Wrongful Imprisonment to Making Art for Obama

Valentino Dixon was convicted of a murder he didn’t commit at the age of 21. He was sentenced to 38 years to life.
He spent the next 27 years of his life fighting to get out of prison. He maintained his innocence throughout.
With the assistance of three law students at Georgetown University Innocence Project, evidence of Valentino’s innocence was discovered. He was set free after 27 years in 2018.
